A firm grasp of the fundamentals is essential to the safety and effectiveness of CrossFit programming. We provide this foundation through our mandatory Foundations Program. The Foundations Progam will takes you through the basics of CrossFit and prepares you for group classes.
Foundations Program
All new clients who are new to CrossFit will have to complete the Foundations Program. The Foundations program consists of two one-on-one or small group sessions with a certified CrossFit trainer. Each class will last approximately one hour and cover 4-5 of the fundamental movements of CrossFit. From there, you will do a light warm up and finish with a WOD (workout of the day). The Foundations program is designed to give you an in-depth exposure to CrossFit's 9 fundamental movements (Air squat, overhead squat, front squat, shoulder press, push press, push jerk, deadlift, hang power clean, and medicine ball clean) that make up the majority of our workouts. For more information on the Foundations program or to schedule a time to begin, email us or stop by during one of our scheduled class times to speak with a trainer. The Foundations Program is required of our athletes to join in our regular group classes.
CrossFit Emerald Coast Group Classes
Once you have completed the Foundations program or can demonstrate proper form and good technique of CrossFit's foundational movements in the Foundations training sessions, you may join our Group Classes. The groups will typically be larger (4-6 people) and focus on intensity as well as proper execution of movement. Our group workouts are 100% supervised by a certified trainer which means you are educated and coached every class.
Personal Training
Our trainers are available for personal training most days of the week, though you will have to make an appointment ahead of time. We specialize in olympic weightlifting, power lifting, and gymnastics movements. Email us to make an appointment with a trainer and get started today! For more information, see our trainers page.
