    ■ Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast.

How did the morning class go? Kim and I finished up the CrossFit Kids cert yesterday then made the 8 hour drive north to San Jose. Had to take a 1 hour nap before the last two hours of driving could be completed. It was a long day!

We're planning on doing a WOD at CF San Jose this evening and some more over the next few days. Hopefully we'll visit CF Santa Cruz Central by the end of the week!

10:32 as Rx'd

great workout Medea!

Everybody did a fantastic job today on the workout! It looks so innocent but it was a scorcher! Thank you to all who attended the 5:15 class for being flexible with the 2 heats. Also, thank you Ted and Ali for staying, I couldn't have got through it without you! I thouroughly enjoyed today and look forward to the remainder of the week with everyone!! Good job!!

Did Barbara since I missed it the other day.

My splits (as Rx'd)

2:37
2:33
2:38
2:59 ( hit massive wall on sit-ups and my kip was jacked!)
3:01 (found some gas the sit-ups but my push-ups were spent

Did the 'dot com' wod of 5x 30GHD situps and 25 back extensions at CF San Jose. 13:40 as rx'd. Got a good start but I bonked in the 4th round and Kim beat me by 3 seconds :)

The GHDs there are not as nice as our york. Very hard to get 'snappy' situps. Very painful for both of us.

5 rds: 30 GHD Sit-ups / 25 Back Extension

Did this WOD at CrossFit San Jose. GHD was not set up correctly for this WOD---Couldn't get the explosive power from the legs on the GDH Sit-ups.

Got you again Michael! Pay back for "Musical Medicine Balls"

Monday's WOD--what can I say!? I think the word Burpee should be removed from the english dictionary! Oh wait--its not in there!
This may have been my most challenging WOD yet! Thanks Medea for the push!

  • "We don't have the agility of gymnasts, the power of a weightlifter, or the endurance of a marathoner but we have more agility, power, and endurance than any gymnast, weightlifter or marathoner. We do your stuff almost as good as you, you can’t do our stuff at all and we do stuff neither of us does way better than you can."
