Affiliate Update: We got our FL State Health Studio Registration/License on Friday, woohoo! Today we received the fire marshal's approval to open as well. Pullup bars are getting delivered this evening. Tomorrow, I'll be getting the final city/county paperwork competed and we should have an official opening very soon -- we're shooting for Friday so I'll make the announcement official as soon as we know for sure. We are so close now!!

Affiliate Update: Pullup bars got their powdercoating finished up last night and will be delivered tomorrow!
Affiliate Update: Joel, Kimberly, and I got a preview of the pullup bars yesterday before we hit the road for Jacksonville. They are HUGE! They still need to get their 'feet' attached and sanded, but should be getting powder coated today and ready for pickup on Monday!

Affiliate Update: Got some more equipment in this week: 2 more jumpropes, a bar holder and two olympic bars from Rogue Fitness. Kim and I also fashioned a couple of 'rock balls' using a beach ball, a stability ball, 2 rolls of duct tape and about 210# of river rock! We'll feature these in a later post. Tax return is looking good, so we may end up purchasing a few more items in the near future - a GHD perhaps?

I started CrossFit in my garage in November of 2006 after 3-4 months of 'encouragement' from a coworker. I decided to log onto www.crossfit.com and see for myself. Once I saw the Nasty Girls video (particularly the last 2 minutes), I knew this was something different. This was a level of fitness I'd never seen before - I knew I wanted some of it! Almost 18 months later I still can't wait for my next WOD. I'm an addict!

Just a 'heads up': Kimberly and I will be in Jacksonville attending the Running & Endurance Certification Seminar this weekend and will be out of pocket for a few days. We'll be back on Sunday. Hopefully the pullup bars will be complete and we can make the big move on Monday!

Affiliate Update: Received some new equipment! 6 Duvide Jumpropes, 4 Dynamax Balls, and a set of Pullup Assistance Bands. The pullup bars should be complete and installed by Monday, then we'll be moving all the equipment over from the garage...
